The BCP Search Process

Step 1: Defining the Roles Requirements/Specifications

Comprehensive and candid discussions are held with all individuals who will be directly involved in the hiring process to gain a thorough understanding of company operations and objectives as well as the specific skills, experience and style of person they seek. These consultative discussions allow us to identify the appropriate cultural fit and optimal prior work experience of potential candidates.

We then develop a company "sell sheet," clearly defining the scope of the position, specific duties and requisite personal attributes. Each sell sheet is reviewed with the client to ensure a complete understanding.  Throughout the search BCP maintains regular communication with the client.

Step 2: Candidate Development

After reviewing background information on each possible candidate, we then conduct in-depth interviews with the most promising candidates to further evaluate qualifications, personality, style and compatibility with the organization’s culture. Once a short list is identified we then conduct thorough reference checks as well as an pertinent testing prior to submitting to you. Strict confidentiality is maintained to protect both client and candidate. We reveal a client's identity to viable candidates only at the appropriate time.

Step 3: Interview Process

We facilitate the entire interview process.  From meeting with and testing candidates in our offices to scheduling interviews for our clients, we'll take care of all the details. By managing the whole process and conducting detailed assessments subsequent to each interview, we are able to provide candid, unbaised feedback to help determine the right candidate as quickly as possible.

Step 4:  On-Boarding

Unlike much of our competition, we do not view our role as limited to merely providing backgrounds of impressive candidates for your review.  Our value is measured by our ability to deliver the right talent to your team so that he or she begins contributing to your organization as soon as possible.

It is in this spirit that we continue to facilitate the hiring process for you, even after the interviews have concluded.  We will oversee the terms of offers of employment and assist with any negotiations.  We will also counsel propsective employees as they transition out of their current roles and into your company, assisting with any relevant matters that might otherwise interrupt a seamless transition.

Our attention to every detail encourages an uncomplicated acceptance of employment, avoids any miscommunication and facilitates an orderly transition into your organization. We will continue to maintain regular contact with you and the newly hired employee after the start date to ensure a successful match has been made.
